Ceramic Coating – The Ultimate Paint Protection Add-On What is it? Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied to your vehicle’s paintwork that chemically bonds to the surface, creating a long-lasting, ultra-slick, and hydrophobic layer of protection. What’s involved? As part of our ceramic coating service, we carry out the following steps: Deep Clean & Decontamination We start with a full multi-stage wash, removing dirt, tar, iron particles, and other bonded contaminants from the paintwork. Paint Correction (Optional) If needed, we offer a light machine polish to remove fine swirls or oxidation, ensuring a flawless surface for the coating to bond to. Panel Prep Once the surface is clean and corrected, we wipe it down with a special solution to remove any remaining oils or residues. Ceramic Application We then carefully apply the ceramic coating by hand, working panel by panel to ensure full coverage and proper bonding. Curing Time The vehicle is left to cure for a few hours (weather-dependent), forming a strong, glass-like layer of protection.
